Amy Guy has a strong presence within the current athletic and fitness industry.
The evidence in her favour is her sporting record to date which consists of representing
Wales and TEAM GB in not one but 4 sports.
Amy is a unique talent with many strings to her bow, and it would be difficult to
think of any female on the UK fitness scene whos resume matches that of her.
With Amy’s athletic figure and looks she went to Miss World as Miss UK, where
she won the Title of Miss World Sports & Fitness and has been the only UK contestant
to ever clinch the title. This in turn invited her to take to the road and compete
in a global selection of marathons.
She is recently converted Modern Pentahlete, the grueling event that combines the
five events of – Fencing, Swimming, Showjumping, Running and Shooting.
She appears on the new series of ‘Gladiators’ as the ferocious and undefeated
Siren and is one of the new sports presenters on Sky Sports. With her bubbly and
charismatic personality, Amys fresh faced looks and recognizable face have fronted
many leading sports brands campaigns, including Speedo, NIKE and SONY.


Amy is also a feature writer for many of the leading sporting and fitness magazines on the shelves today. She writes and performs monthly workout videos and articles for Womens Fitness, Runners World and Muscle & Fitness and has just begun filming her own fitness series TV. She aims to continue to promote fitness for Women and encourage girls from a young age to get involved in fitness and to form a healthy lifestyle
Aside form her Modern Pentathlon training and goals, Amy recently added another activity to her sporting repertoire in becoming a keen polo player. She was asked to compete in a match at the British Open Championships, and with only 4 weeks training Amy relished the challenge and really took to the sport. Amy loves the aspect that everybody is equal on the polo pitch, all levels of players whether male or female, amateur or professional play together in the same game.
With her involvement in sport and passion for fitness Amy has been involved with the new website Famously Fit.com alongside Lee Latchford Evans. Famously Fit is a revolutionary celebrity health and fitness magazine. Amy writes weekly fitness features, interviews and hosts her own fitness shows and TV entertainment giving advice on nutrition, exercise and a whole sphere of well being.
Amy is a proud to be a USN hero.
Amy first represented her country at the age of 13. She has since competed and won at International Level in both sprint hurdling, and horse riding. She has represented Wales on 5 Consecutive occasions in the equestrian world and made Team GB where GB came out on top as World Champions.
She also took the title of Miss World Sports & Fitness in 2005 at the prestigious Miss World Final and has been the only UK contestant to ever clench the title.
She has taken part in 5 marathon runs across the globe for charity with a respectable PB of 3hrs 52sec after just 4 weeks of training!


Monday –
am - low intensioy 5 k run
pm- 60 min core training session
Tues –
Am – swimming
Pm – track sprint session, usually 10 x 300m sprint
Wed –
Am- target shooting and 30 mins kettlebell training
Pm - fencing training
Thursday
Am – swimming
Pm – sprint training session
Friday
Am – low intensity 5k run
Pm - fencing training
Saturday – polo/horse riding or rest day
Sunday - polo/horse riding or rest day

Amy now concentrates all of her training towards the Modern Pentathlon. With her strong and accomplished equestrian and running background she now trains to compete in all 5 of the Modern Pentathlon events. Amy is aiming for a successful MP World Series next summer with the 2012 Olympics in sight.
