12 Week Weight Loss Diet Plan for Women




A good diet plan is a sure fire way to lose weight, however, for the best results this should be accompanied by a strict exercise regime and an all round healthy lifestyle. Following the diet we have outlined below and teaming that with regular exercise, 7-8 hours of sleep per night and carefully selected USN products will allow you to get the results that you desire.


USN Tip: Before you start eating, start each day with 1 large glass of lukewarm water and 2-3 Xedra-Cut XT Capsimax Capsules. Then try to drink around 3ltrs of water throughout the day to flush your system and keep you hydrated. This will not only aid your diet, but keep you feeling more awake and generally more invigorated. (More tips at the bottom of the page)

Exercise:  Whenever possible, try to exercise first thing in the morning, for around 1 hour and preferably on an empty stomach. Doing so will increase your Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) and stimulate all-day fat burning, a key factor in rapid weight loss. For the best results, train using a combination of moderate resistance and cardiovascular exercises. A mix of swimming or running and moderate weights would be ideal. See our Training Plans page for more ideas.

 

Breakfast:

OPTION 1

·½ cup of cooked oats/oat bran with 1 scoop Pure Protein GF-1 Vanilla

·5 almonds and cinnamon to taste,

·1 x green apple

OPTION 2

·Egg white omelette (4 egg whites, 1 yolk) with red pepper strips and mushrooms

·1 slice rye bread, toasted + 1 tsp margarine

·1 x medium peach/ 2 small plums/ 1 medium orange

OPTION 3

·Blend 250ml fat-free milk with: 1 x frozen banana (not too ripe) 

·1 x tsp cocoa powder or vanilla essence 

·1 x scoop of 100% whey or Pure Protein GF-1 (Vanilla)


After breakfast and before lunch, we recommend taking the following supplements within the USN weight loss range, which will contribute to the maintenance of lean muscle:

 

After Breakfast: 1 x MultiPlex Sport, 2 x CLA Pure 1000 soft gels.

Mid-Morning Meal: 1 serving of Diet Whey Ultralean.                                                                                          

30 Minutes before Lunch: 1 Xédra-Cut Slim Pack sachet in 500ml water.

Lunch:

OPTION 1

· 1½ can of tuna in water, mixed with ½ tbsp mayo 1 slice of rye bread + 1tsp margarine.

· 1 bowl of green leafy salad (drizzled with lemon juice and/ or vinegar)

OPTION 2

·1 small grilled / steamed skinless chicken breast or 1 fish fillet (40g)

·1 medium baked potato or sweet potato with 1 tsp margarine melted over 1 cup of steamed broccoli

OPTION 3 

· 2 tbsp lean minced beef fried with 3 canned tomatoes or 4 tsp of tomato puree, 

· Cup of cooked Brown/Basmati rice 

· Cup of spinach & tomato or ½ cup Zucchini


After lunch and before dinner, we recommend taking the following supplements within the USN weight loss range, which will contribute to the maintenance of lean muscle:


After Lunch:

2 x CLA Pure 1000 soft gels.
30 Minutes before Meal: 2-3 capsules Xédra-Cut XT Capsimax (no later than 4pm) or 4 capsules Xédra-Cut SF.Mid-Afternoon Meal: 1 serving of Diet Whey Ultralean – Aids body fat reduction
30 Minutes before Dinner: 4 capsules Xédra-Cut SF.

Dinner:

OPTION 1 

·100g grilled/roasted beef fillet or tuna steak

·1 cup of cooked mixed vegetables 

·1 bowl of green leafy salad (drizzled with lemon juice and 1 tsp flaxseed/olive/canola oil) 

OPTION 2

·1 large grilled/steamed skinless chicken breast or hake/haddock fillet (80g),

·½ cup cooked green beans with tomato & onion + ½ cup cooked carrots (sweetened),

·1 bowl of green leafy salad (drizzled with lemon juice and 1 tsp flaxseed/olive/canola oil)

OPTION 3

·100g grilled/barbequed lean steak (fillet or sirloin) 

·1½ cup of steamed broccoli + cauliflower

·1 bowl of green leafy salad (drizzled with lemon juice and 1 tsp flaxseed/olive/canola oil)


What you take after your dinner are some of the most ingredients in your diet, they will not only help your body to process the food in the best way, but are an excellent source of fibre and are high in protein.

After Dinner: 2 x CLA Pure 1000 soft gels with a cup of rooibos tea or decaffeinated coffee.

Dessert: 1 serving of chilled Protein Dessert. - To aid conditioning during the night when at your most relaxed.

 

Remember, the 3 options for each meal are just suggestions for during your diet, feel free to get creative with them, change flavours, use different vegetables, just make sure what you are eating is in keeping with the diet plan.

 

USN Tips

ü  Limit table salts and sugar – Cut down on products that contain sugar – alternate with Low-salt variants and artificial sweeteners (mostly xylitol, sucralose and sweet fibres).

ü  Limit wheat-containing products

ü  Limit cooking with oils and fats (use cold pressed flaxseed/canola/extra virgin olive oil)

ü  Don’t use butter, use soft sunflower margarine variants where indicated, to optimise essential fatty acid intake. 

ü  Avoid products rich in preservatives and cold drinks (zero calorie sugar-free drinks are acceptable).

ü  Limit alcoholic drinks and full cream dairy products.  

ü  1-2 cups of fat-free milk or yoghurt (also sugar-free) can be taken each day and help to promote weight loss. 

ü  Vegetarian? Low-fat cheese (e.g. Mozzarella, Ricotta, Feta & Edam) could be taken instead of a meat serving (limit to a max of 3 x 60g servings per week). 

ü  Aim to have your dinner before 7pm in the evenings. 

 


Important Notes and Information About This Diet

 

Proteins: Contribute to the growth and maintenance of lean muscle. Also a good way of gaining vital protein for busy lifestyles

Carbohydrates: Carbs from mainly low-GI sources have been selected to stabilise blood sugar levels and to act as energy source. The amount of carbs in this diet acts as a catalyst to push your metabolism into hyperdrive and fuel a sustained fat loss process.

FatsNot all fats are bard, good fats are extremely important for optimal hormone response, central nervous system and brain function, a strong immune system and health in general.

 


Remember:

·          Never train more than 6 consecutive days per week.  

·          Do not use Xédra-Cut XT Capsimax for more than 5 consecutive days per week. 

·          Use Xédra-Cut Stimulant Free during the ‘2-off days’ before repeating Xédra-cut XT Capsimax.
